Lovells
In 1998 Lovells agreed to support the Law Library's efforts to offer extended opening hours on weekends during term time. Their support, which has continued since then, allows us to extend our Saturday opening to the afternoons, and to open for 6 hours on Sundays. This is a very popular service with all our students and researchers, and has also enabled us to open longer on Sunday evenings, to satisfy numerous requests by students.
In addition to the funding for staff, Lovells provide popular items for student use in the form of mousemats and umbrellas. Lovells' generosity ensures that weekend opening continues as an extension of the daily services provided by the Bodleian Law Library to its students.
